This year our car show was another success, the weather was perfect for the desert, the cars were spectacular as usual and the spectator attendance was abundant. We had games for the kids, poker hands to be found, a nostalgic dragster, representatives and cool vehicles from the 29 Palms Marine base, a fire department furnished breakfast and many vendors for food, products and services. Below are just a few pictures of the event furnished by Bud Hurn. Congratulations to Rob and Sondra Bock.

Car show Chairman Steve Willman opened the show by introducing the Marines in attendance......

the Boy Scouts, the pledge of allegiance and the singing of the National Anthem.

The releasing of the white doves was a perfect way to conclude the opening ceremonies.

Steve's wife Esta was the first to feel the raw power of the dragster while she sat in the drivers seat when they started it.

The top bike honor went to a 1946 Indian that was maticulacley hand crafted by it's owner. A beautiful piece of work.

The Mayors choice was a metal flake pink and charcoal Buick picked mainly because of it's Breast Cancer Pink theme.

Need I say more, this 1956 Chevy extended cab truck was hand crafted by Rob Bock in his garage and is proudly shown by his wife Sondra. A beautiful piece of art.
